TxDOT Odessa District is offering paid internship positions at the Odessa District Headquarters. Interns gain hands-on administrative experience while supporting daily operations, reception, data gathering, and document quality checks.

Open to high school or college students; positions are onsite with potential for flexible scheduling and on-the-job training. Benefits include learning opportunities and entry into state civil service roles.

Qualifications

• Must be a student in high school or enrolled in college or university.
• At least 16 years of age and currently enrolled in an educational institution.
• Driver's license may be required for some duties (18+).

Responsabilités

• Answer the telephone and route messages as needed.
• Disseminate information to the public and maintain records.
• Perform basic word processing and quality checks on documents.
• Greet visitors and assist as receptionist or front desk assistant.
• Support administrative tasks and data gathering.
