Join a leading healthcare facility as an Administrative Support III in the Anatomic Pathology department. This temporary role requires advanced administrative skills to support complex procedures. You will manage case distribution, assist with testing requests, and provide essential clerical support. Ideal candidates will have a background in healthcare administration and experience in clerical duties, particularly in Anatomic Pathology.
The Anatomic Pathology department at Alberta Children's Hospital is looking for a qualified administrative support to join our team on a temporary, 13-month basis. Duties include but not limited to: receiving transport buckets and distributing new cases to pathologists; receiving and filing pathology material (blocks and slides); receiving and completing requests for additional testing, send outs, consults, etc.; assisting secretary with preparing meeting agenda and minutes; and timekeeping.
As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Completion of office admin or healthcare admin courses or program. Previous experience in a healthcare office setting or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in clerical or admin duties in Anatomic Pathology. Knowledge of Epic - Beaker, AP module.
