North Carolina A&T State University is seeking an Administrative Support Assoc to provide clerical and administrative support to the Director of the School of Nursing and related offices. The role requires strong time management, communication, and computer skills to serve students, staff and faculty.
The position offers routine office duties, data management, correspondence, call handling, and collaboration with multiple departments.
This position may be eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies. N.C. A&T employees are generally required to reside in North Carolina, within a 2-hour commuting distance of their assigned duty station.

To serve as administrative support to the Director of the School of Nursing and to provide clerical and administrative support to all matters related to the Director’s Office. The duties and responsibilities could include but not limited to; providing professional support and customer service to clients, students, faculty and/or staff, assist with clerical and administrative duties, answer and transfer calls, compose written materials (such as memos, emails, agendas or minutes from meetings), banner processing, order office supplies, and other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

At the graduate level, HCHHS offers four graduate degree programs including the Masters in Physician Assistant Studies (PA program), Master of Social Work ( MSW ), Master of Science in Health Psychology and PhD in Social Work. Three additional doctoral programs being are being developed; Doctor of Nurse practice ( DNP ), PhD in Applied Psychology, and PhD in Sociology. The HCHHS is also home to the Center of Excellence in Integrative Health Disparities and Equity Research ( CIHDER ), a hub for multidisciplinary research and community engagement efforts to alleviate health inequities. The HCHHS capitalizes on the synergistic relationships between these departments to develop advanced academic health science programming, enhance the training of healthcare practitioners, and conduct collaborative multidisciplinary research and scholastic activity.
