Primary Purpose Of Position
To serve as administrative support to the Director of the School of Nursing and to provide clerical and administrative support to all matters related to the Director’s Office. The duties and responsibilities could include but not limited to; providing professional support and customer service to clients, students, faculty and/or staff, assist with clerical and administrative duties, answer and transfer calls, compose written materials (such as memos, emails, agendas or minutes from meetings), banner processing, order office supplies, and other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

Three additional doctoral programs being are being developed; Doctor of Nurse practice ( DNP ), PhD in Applied Psychology, and PhD in Sociology. The HCHHS is also home to the Center of Excellence in Integrative Health Disparities and Equity Research ( CIHDER ), a hub for multidisciplinary research and community engagement efforts to alleviate health inequities. The HCHHS capitalizes on the synergistic relationships between these departments to develop advanced academic health science programming, enhance the training of healthcare practitioners, and conduct collaborative multidisciplinary research and scholastic activity. The School of Nursing is dedicated to equipping individuals for the nursing profession, ensuring they possess the essential skills and knowledge for quality, safe, patient-centered care. Our comprehensive program offerings include traditional bachelor of science in nursing ( BSN ) tracks, Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing ( ABSN ), and RN to BSN pathways, catering to different ranges of educational needs.
