North Carolina A&T State University is seeking a Part-Time Instructor in Health Services Administration to teach a broad range of courses and contribute to the ongoing development of the program.
The incumbent will engage in activities such as advising students, identifying internship opportunities, developing course syllabi and the student handbook, and serving on academic or administrative committees. Keeping abreast of field developments through literature and conferences is expected.

This is a part-time faculty position with teaching responsibilitiesin a wide range of health services administration courses. Theposition is also expected to participate in the continueddevelopment of the health services administration program includingrecruitment, identifying internship opportunities, developingcourse syllabi, student handbook and other relevant documents.Additional responsibilities may include a) serving as an academicadvisor, b) serving on academic or administrative committees, andc) keeping abreast of developments in the field by reading currentliterature, collaborating with colleagues, and participating inprofessional organizations and conferences.
The mission of the Health Care Administration program is to orientstudents to the various career opportunities that requireapplication of healthcare, management, technology, and dataanalysis skills and knowledge. This will be accomplished throughappropriate course work; clinical, management and technologyapplications; research and data analysis projects, and internshipexperiences. The program seeks to instill core values ofexcellence, integrity, discovery, and lifelong learning. The HealthCare Administration Program is within the School of Nursing andHealth Services.
Master’s degree in Health Care Management or related field. Aminimum of two years full-time employment or equivalent inhealthcare.
Masters or Doctorate in the field degree with 1-3 years teachingexperience at the University or Community College level.
