You will serve as a Administrative Support Assistant at Travel Processing Center Memphis.

Duties
  • You will provide support in administrative areas such as timekeeping, military leave, travel, human resources, files management, and office automation systems.
  • You will assist the Administrative Officer on aspects of office administration to include personnel administration, budgeting, data processing and files management.
  • You will prepare and type letters and other correspondence ensuring correct punctuation, spelling, format and grammar in all final correspondence.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing computer and/or web based systems to extract and maintain a variety of records; 2) Maintaining electronic and paper files within established filing systems; 3) Proofreading all outgoing official letters for proper format, grammar, etc., prior to final preparation signature. Education

In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Have successfully completed four years of education above high school level.
