Job summary

NAVY MUNITIONS COMMAND ATLANTIC (NMCLANT) UNIT NORFOLK is seeking a PROGRAM ANALYST to support explosive safety and program management. You will advise on administrative and programmatic aspects, review standards, and help develop directives and training.

The role emphasizes data analysis, reporting, and coordination with NAVOSH and ESSA inspections. Responsibilities include operating data systems, preparing graphics, maintaining the qualification program, and supporting stockpile accountability

Qualifications

  • Experience applying Explosive Safety Qualification and Certification requirements.
  • Experience using analytical techniques to identify and resolve procedural issues.
  • Experience applying qualitative and quantitative analysis (e.g., charting, graphs).
  • Experience applying regulations, instructions and SOPs.
  • Experience producing naval correspondence and reports.

Responsibilities

  • Provide information for decisions on administrative and programmatic aspects.
  • Identify problems, review standards, and recommend improvements.
  • Review reports ensuring requirements and regulations are utilized.
  • Assist in development of directives and system program implementations.
  • Maintain Explosive Safety Qualification and Certification program.
  • Collect hours worked and ammunition tonnage and conduct inventories.
  • Coordinate with NAVOSH and ESSA inspections.
  • Operate a database and prepare data visualizations for presentations.
