Job summary

NMCLANT YORKTOWN VA seeks a Management and Program Analyst to support ordnance operations and technical readiness at the GS-11/12 level. Qualifications

  • Specialized experience at GS-11/12 level in ordnance and explosives handling qualifications and certification of standardized training plans.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the ORDNANCE OPERATIONS AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT DEPT (N3/NA) of NMCLANT YORKTOWN VA.
  • Provide support for all aspects of ordnance/explosives operations.
  • Provide program oversight for storage, receipt, issue, segregation of ammunition retail.
  • Conduct complicated studies associated with tailored ordnance mission to ensure operational readiness.
  • Develop policies to ensure ordnance inventory standards are in compliance.
  • Conduct analysis in the evaluation of operational risk for handling and transporting explosives.
  • Manage multiple programs including Safety and Health Protection.
  • Prescribe methods to minimize risk to operations, personnel, property, equipment and environment.
