Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI is seeking an Administrative Operations Assistant (Security) on a part-time basis (50% FTE) with a day shift Monday–Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

This temporary role is based at University Hospital and is expected to last 12 months. You will produce photo ID badges, manage access privileges, screen visitors at American Family Children's Hospital, maintain visitor restriction lists, and handle time-sensitive data entry and department emails.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in an administrative support role.
• 3 years experience in an administrative support function preferred.
• Previous experience in a health care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce photo ID badges for UW Health employees and grant access privileges to the security card access system.
• Provide directions and complete visitor screening and production of visitor passes at American Family Children's Hospital, including maintaining visitor restriction lists.
• Monitor and respond to the department email inbox and perform time sensitive data entry.
