Job summary

HII Newport News Shipbuilding seeks a seasoned administrative leader to oversee finance, HR, purchasing, and R&D tasks. You will coordinate personnel transfers, manage Process Director invoices, and ensure compliance and timely monthly reporting across the ET&D division.

The role requires 6+ years in progressive admin/supervisory roles, with naval/shipbuilding context preferred. On-site in Newport News; strong leadership and data analysis skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years progressive professional and/or supervisory work experience; Master’s Degree and 4 years relevant experience
• NNPS graduate and NNS Apprentice School graduate credentials are required or highly preferred
• Demonstrated leadership in a complex administrative and financial environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage employees on loan to the ET&D division and collaborate with ET&D managers
• Submit and manage Process Director invoices for subcontractor labor and ensure value of work
• Submit DD254s for contracted work and coordinate with Accounting on errors and monthly reporting
