The Department of Corrections is seeking an Administrative Officer 2 to join our dedicated team in the Inmate Grievances Appeal Office. You will work closely with other team members to plan, direct, and coordinated the management of the grievance system and related polices. As an Administrative Officer 2, your role will involve working closely with the Chief Grievance Officer and assisting with various special projects related to the Secretary's Office of Inmate Grievances and Appeals. Your responsibilities will include performing administrative and technical tasks, as well as making recommendations for changes to the Inmate Grievance System policy and procedures. In addition, you will act as a liaison between the Department of Corrections, the Office of Attorney General, and the Office of General Counsel on cases related to the Prison Litigation Reformation Act (PLRA). Furthermore, you will also serve as a Grievance Review Officer, responsible for reviewing grievance appeals at the central office level. Your work will require conducting a thorough review of all issues raised throughout the grievance process and ensuring that the responses and actions taken align with policy and current case law, as directed by the Chief Grievance Officer.
