Summary:
The Administrative Fellowship is a two-year professional development program designed to provide broad exposure to nonprofit leadership, governance, finance, compliance, fundraising, and organizational operations. In addition to responsibilities within the Executive Office, the fellow will participate in cross-functional projects, receive mentorship from senior leaders, attend selected leadership and Board meetings, and complete strategic assignments aligned with organizational priorities. Development goals and fellowship progress will be reviewed periodically with the President & CEO.
Under the direction of the President & CEO, the Administrative Fellow, Executive Office & Governance supports the effectiveness of the Executive Office by coordinating complex schedules and priority meetings, preparing briefing materials, tracking decisions and action items, and facilitating timely communication with Board members, donors, senior leaders, and external partners. Through cross-functional assignments, mentorship, and exposure to organizational decision-making, the fellow will develop the knowledge and skills needed for future nonprofit leadership roles. This role is a full-time hybrid position with approximately 2-3 days per week in our Alexandria, Virginia office.
