Job summary

FOX 5 DC is seeking an organized Administrative Coordinator to help keep a fast-moving media operation running smoothly across linear, digital, streaming and social channels. You’ll report to the Office Manager and support department heads and teams with scheduling, travel, expenses, supplies, and projects, while maintaining confidentiality and a proactive, service-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two or more years of administrative experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Office Manager, department heads, and station teams.
• Manage calendars, meetings, agendas, materials, rooms, technology, and travel arrangements.
• Draft, proofread, format, and distribute memos, presentations, and reports; maintain Stay Ahead internal communications.
• Coordinate vendor setup, invoicing, purchasing in Coupa and Graphite Connect; liaise with vendors and internal teams.
• Deliver exceptional service by coordinating access, hospitality, tours, schedules, and on-site logistics.
• Prepare tracking and data-driven reports for station leadership and monitor social media trends.
• Coordinate station events and community initiatives across linear, digital, streaming, and social platforms.
• Maintain organized records and safeguard confidential information; support administrative needs.
