Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is seeking an administrative specialist to support the Nature and Science Center at Port Wonder. The role includes purchasing, timekeeping, invoicing, and fleet/facility management, plus serving as the public contact for the Center and related Education and Outreach activities.
Three years of administrative experience are required. Appointment details and compensation will be based on qualifications and experience.
This position will provide administrative and clerical support to the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Nature and Science Center at Port Wonder. In addition to administrative duties (purchasing, timekeeping, invoicing, fleet management, and facility management) this position will serve as the public point of contact for the Nature and Science Center, as well as other Education and Outreach activities and programs.
Three years of experience in administrative services.
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.
Appointment Type: Probational Appointment, Job Appointment, Detail to Special Duty, Promotion (open to all statewide classified and agency-wide permanent status employees)
