The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) is seeking a Front Desk/Switchboard Operator for District 04 Headquarters. The role handles telephone/radio communications, greeting visitors, mail processing, data entry, and various clerical tasks, with independent work and participation in DOTD training programs.
An ideal candidate will meet competencies such as accepting direction, accountability, and adherence to policies while performing duties with minimal supervision.
This position functions as a Front Desk/Switchboard Operator within the District 04 Headquarters Building. The incumbent is responsible for telephone and radio communications, greeting visitors, mail processing, data entry, and various clerical duties. The incumbent must be self-motivated and able to perform duties independently with little to no supervision on a regular basis. The incumbent will participate in DOTD structured training programs as appropriate and attend all continuing education classes and conferences deemed necessary to facilitate the performance of required tasks.

Two years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.
