Philosophy Department
Coordinate the daily operations of the Philosophy Department and assist in the development and support of academic programs. Assist with program assessment, student recruitment and transition into the major/minor. Assist with student integration, alumni and public outreach in a comprehensive manner via Public Humanities programs, grants and initiatives for Philosophy. Coordinate similarly integrated operations and provide critical administrative and event support for Fulton School of Liberal Arts Cultural Affairs programs and initiatives.
Philosophy Department Chair, Dr. Cristina Cammarano (primary supervisor) and Cultural Affairs and Engagement Specialist, Tara Gladden. This position has no direct reports. This position has budgetary support responsibility but no budgetary authority.
Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience.
