The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Early Childhood and Family Support Division. The Early Childhood and Family Support Division works with community providers across the state and is home to many early childhood and family support programs including but not limited to child care; serving children with developmental delays; supporting families through nutrition education and support, maternal child health, home visiting, and child abuse prevention efforts. ECFSD strives to assure that children, youth, and families are healthy and thriving. This position serves as an Administrative Assistant for one of the bureaus in the ECFSD. The position is responsible for developing and establishing office management and administrative support systems, procedures, and services, including but not limited to electronic, verbal, and written communications and correspondence, data/records management, forms and templates, supply and equipment inventories, event coordination, travel arrangements, and support for meetings.

This position may be eligible for partial telework within the state of Montana. Specific conditions will be provided by the supervisor and must adhere to state policy. This position may be eligible for a statutory $1.00 an hour base pay increase effective July 1, 2026.
