Administrative Assistant
We are currently seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support the Corporate Tax department at a leading telecommunications company located in Boston, MA.
The Administrative Assistance will assist with a variety of administrative tasks including processing invoices, tracking contracts and budgets, submitting expense reports, sorting mail, coordinating team events and lunches, managing the Tax Operations Management System, and corresponding with local tax authorities.
This is a 12-month temporary position based in Boston, MA, requiring 3 days per week on-site, offering up to $25/hour based on experience, with a 40-hour work week.
Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile invoices and expenses against the annual budget
- Track and maintain records of contracts and departmental budgets
- Prepare and submit expense reports
- Sort incoming mail and upload documents to SharePoint
- Handle check requests and ensure timely processing
- Maintain and update the team’s internal database
- Coordinate and organize team lunches and events
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in a corporate setting
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with SharePoint is strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and thoroughness
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
