Job summary

Viatris in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced administrative professional to support GRA leaders and team with scheduling, travel, document generation and meeting notes. You will coordinate meetings, manage calendars, prepare reports, and assist with onboarding and offboarding activities.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 2–3 years of administrative experience (3–4 preferred), and strong Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years demonstrated administrative experience; 3–4 years preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced administrative skills and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Ability to manage calendars, travel, and basic budgeting tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as liaison and provide administrative support to GRA leaders and team members.
  • Coordinate meetings, conference calls and departmental meetings.
  • Schedule staff appointments, screen emails, and prepare expense reports.
  • Coordinate calendars, travel itineraries, and onboarding/offboarding activities.
  • Prepare presentations and summaries, and provide IT support requests for the team.
  • Record meeting notes and manage confidential information.

Role Responsibilities
  • Serve as a liaison and provide administrative support to GRA leaders and subordinate team members.
  • Coordinate meetings, conference calls and departmental meetings.
  • Perform routine administrative duties including but not limited to scheduling of staff appointments for proofreading, screening e-mails, sending emails on LT member’s behalf, document generation, booking of travel and preparation of expense reports.
  • Coordinate and maintain calendar/schedule and travel itineraries.
  • Coordinate and manage special projects as assigned.
  • Prepare simple to detailed presentations, to include creation of supporting text and insertion/creation of graphics utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Record meeting notes and prepare summaries of meetings.
  • Routinely handle confidential and time-sensitive information, including budgets and headcount.
  • Support colleague and contractor on-boarding and off boarding, maintain organizational charts, and provide support for recruitment activities.
  • Manage IT requests for team members.
  • Supports other GRA administrative personnel to provide pooled services.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years demonstrated administrative experience; however, 3-4 years of administrative experience preferred.
  • A combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Teams is required.
  • Must possess advanced administrative skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Must have a strong work ethic and consensus gathering skills.
  • Must possess strong computer skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret general business documents.
  • Ability to write routine reports and general business correspondence.
  • Ability to work with peers and communicate basic concepts.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
  • Typically sitting at a desk or table.
  • Intermittently sitting, standing, walking, and/or stooping.
  • Light lifting requirements.
  • Periodic travel may be required.
  • 2-3 days per week in the Washington, DC office Normal office situation Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

The salary range for this position is $37,000 - $73,000.
