Job summary

Viatris seeks an Analyst – Governance, Risk, & Information Protection to manage GRIP services, monitor risk and compliance, and document security operations. You will analyze testing results, help create training materials, and support data standardization efforts across the team.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage activities for services provided by the GRIP team.
  • Ensure security operations and maintenance are documented for all GRIP services.
  • Identify measures of service performance and actions to improve outcomes.
  • Monitor risk, compliance, and assurance per department guidelines.
  • Analyze results of software, hardware, or interoperability testing.
  • Generate service queries and reports as required.
  • Manage data cataloging, retrieval, and documentation.
  • Diagnose and resolve customer reported system incidents and events.
  • Assist in development of training materials and communications on policies and data handling.
  • Help develop data standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Participate in testing and evaluation of tools for implementation.
  • Assist in development of effectiveness and performance measures.
  • Assist with test plans addressing specifications and requirements.

Key responsibilities for this role include:
  • Coordinate and manage activities for services provided by the GRIP team.
  • Ensure all systems security operations and maintenance activities are properly documented and updated as necessary for all services provided by the GRIP team.
  • Identify measures or indicators of service performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the service.
  • Monitor and measure risk, compliance, and assurance efforts in accordance with departmental guidelines.
  • Analyze the results of software, hardware, or interoperability testing.
  • Generate service queries and reports as required.
  • Manage the compilation, cataloging, and retrieval of data.
  • Diagnose and resolve customer reported system incidents, problems, and events.
  • Assist with the development of training materials and other communications to increase employee understanding of company policies, data handling practices and procedures and legal obligations.
  • Assist with the development and documentation of data standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Participate in the testing and evaluation of tools for implementation.
  • Assist with the development of measures of effectiveness and measures of performance.
  • Assist with the development of test plans to address specifications and requirements.
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
  • Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies.
  • Risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk).
  • Cybersecurity and privacy principles.
  • Cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Experience utilizing the following Microsoft tooling: Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Power Automate.
  • Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English is required.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

The salary range for this position is $39,000.00 - $88,000.00 USD.
