Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Two to three years of administrative, secretarial, or general office experience required.
  • Healthcare experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to Administration and Department Directors.
  • Coordinate meetings, schedule, prepare agendas, distribute materials, and record minutes.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, memoranda, and other business documents.
  • Assist with spreadsheet creation, data management, and reporting functions.
  • Maintain organized files, records, and confidential documents.
  • Manage calendars, appointments, and meeting logistics as needed.
  • Assist with scheduling for providers and nursing staff.
  • Receive and screen telephone calls, take messages, and provide routine information.
  • Compile departmental data and assist leaders with scorecards and metrics.
  • Support special projects and departmental initiatives.

This is a Full-Time Monday-Friday position. Hours may vary based on departmental needs.

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to Administration and Department Directors. This position assists with meeting coordination, correspondence, reporting, schedule management, recordkeeping, and special projects. The ideal candidate is highly organized, maintains confidentiality, communicates professionally, and can effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to Administration and Department Directors
  • Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, distributing materials, and recording meeting minutes
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, memoranda, and other business documents
  • Assist with spreadsheet creation, data management, and reporting functions
  • Maintain organized and accurate files, records, and confidential documents
  • Manage calendars, appointments, and meeting logistics as assigned
  • Assist with scheduling for providers, nursing staff, and department activities as needed
  • Receive and screen telephone calls, direct inquiries, take messages, and provide routine information
  • Compile departmental data and assist leaders with scorecards, reports, and organizational metrics
  • Support special projects and departmental initiatives as assigned
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
  • Collaborate effectively with leaders, employees, providers, and external contacts
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Additional vocational, business, or administrative training preferred.
  • Two to three years of administrative, secretarial, or general office experience required.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Frequent sitting, typing, and computer use throughout the workday.
