Under the supervision of the Patient Access Director, the Patient Access Specialist registers inpatient, outpatient, and Emergency Department patients for services, collects and verifies demographic, insurance, and financial information, obtains required signatures, and provides exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
