Job summary

Rise Above, a program of Resources for Human Development, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide essential administrative support to our outpatient substance abuse counseling program. You will serve as the first point of contact, handle client check-ins, collect payments, and coordinate scheduling with staff.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least two years of clerical experience, with strong Microsoft Office skills and a commitment to confidentiality and compassionate

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of two years of clerical or administrative experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Current driver's license, registration, and access to a functional vehicle.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls for staff and route calls appropriately to extensions, voicemail, or take messages.
  • Address general inquiries regarding services provided by Rise Above.
  • Greet clients and complete all required check-in procedures.
  • Collect and accurately record payments for services.
  • Maintain and report group registration and attendance as needed.
  • Process evaluations and communicate evaluation status with referral sources.
  • Complete additional administrative duties as assigned by the management team.

What You'll Do

As an Administrative Assistant, you will:

Qualifications
Required
