Summary

Trinity Presbyterian Preschool is seeking a part time financial and administrative assistant to perform clerical and financial tasks.

Summary

Trinity Presbyterian Preschool is seeking a part time financial and administrative assistant to perform clerical and financial tasks.

Duties

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Prepare documents for the preschool program
  • Ensure all state mandated student documents are complete and on file in the office
  • Maintain and update student files
  • Maintain student immunization records
  • Copy material for the office staff and teachers
  • Answer phone and check daily phone and email messages
  • Secure information by completing data based back ups
  • Assist with morning and afternoon carpool
  • Be a team player who establishes positive, respectful and professional relationships with students, parents, colleagues and visitors
  • Maintain good personal hygiene
  • Continue professional growth by attending early childhood trainings and monthly staff meetings

Financial Responsibilities:

  • Maintain staff payroll and accompanying records
  • Prepare monthly financial report
  • Bill and collect student tuition payments
  • Record and pay taxes
  • Pay invoices
  • Maintain financial investments
  • Attend monthly Preschool Board meetings

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and filing quarterly, federal, state and local taxes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Pass state background requirements
  • Follow Kentucky state regulations and Trinity Presbyterian Church policies

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working in an early childhood program
