Sonoma State University is seeking an Administrative Analyst to support the Ethnic Studies and Languages department under the Director of Operations. The role includes record management, operations and procedures, course scheduling, and budget preparation and control.

The AA will provide information and rationales, use independent judgment on policies, and interact with faculty, staff, students, and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience in administration.
• Three years of office administration experience preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency with Word and Excel; knowledge of Google Suite, Drupal and PeopleSoft preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform record management and general administrative support.
• Oversee operations and procedures within the department.
• Coordinate course scheduling processes and calendars.
• Prepare and analyze budget reports and financial information.
• Provide information and support to faculty, staff, students, and external partners.
• Handle confidential information with discretion.
