Sonoma State University is seeking an Administrative Analyst to support the Ethnic Studies and Languages department. Reporting to the Director Operations, the AA handles records, operations and scheduling, and budget preparation and control.

The analyst uses independent judgement to interpret policies, perform research, and prepare financial reports, while assisting faculty, staff, students and community with diverse matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and experience in admin policy development.
• Three years of office administration experience preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) required.
• Knowledge of Google Suite, Drupal and PeopleSoft preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record management, operations and procedures, course scheduling processes, and budget preparation and control.
• Provide information, historical background, and rationales to staff and faculty.
• Use independent judgement to interpret policies, perform research, and prepare financial reports.
• Support documentation and general office assistance.
