As an Administrative Assistant, you will serve as a trusted resource for leadership and staff, helping coordinate programs, special events, and essential business functions that support individuals and families. The successful candidate will gain experience in a wide range of administrative and operational responsibilities, including budget support, facilities scheduling, database and records management, inventory oversight, and event coordination.   • Performs difficult and confidential administrative duties, including composing routine correspondence, record-keeping, minute-taking, coordinating NB maintenance facilities requests, procurement, catering, and facilities scheduling.
  • Informs students, faculty, community about upcoming events and services of the Center. Coordinates and facilitates events; handles all phone calls, e-mails, and walk-in traffic. Collaborates with MNCA staff to support all Center operations.
  • Performs financial activities for the Center, including new-hire paperwork, ePAFs, requisitions, purchase orders, travel, etc. Assists the Director with maintaining a balanced budget for individual programs, grants, and the Center as a whole.
  • Maintains inventory of office equipment and supplies. Maintains organization of communal work, classroom, and event spaces. Supervises student workers and office support.
  • Performs other job-related duties, as assigned.
