The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking an Administrative Support Associate to assist assigned investigators and their teams. This is an on-site role in Chapel Hill, involving scheduling, grant preparation, correspondence, requisitions, and travel form handling.
The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong Microsoft Office skills, and excellent verbal and written communication. Experience with travel arrangements and UNC processes is a plus.

The position provides assistance to the assigned investigators (PIs) and their laboratory or project personnel. Duties performed are general administrative duties, including scheduling, preparation of grants, correspondence and letters, requisitions, travel forms, etc. This position will also provide program coordination for one or more of the cancer center’s research programs. Duties include organizing program meetings, dissemination/communication of program activities, organizing interactions with program consultants and advisors, program events, guest speakers, and research proposals.
This position is fully on-site, and the incumbent hired into this position is expected to report to the office 5 days per week.
High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
