Job summary

ADEL DESOTO MINBURN COMM SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking humble, hungry, and people-smart bus associates to help transport students safely and reliably.

Hours are as follows: Monday–Thursday 6:45-9:00am and 1:30-4:00pm; Friday 6:45-9:00am and 12:45-2:30pm. Qualifications include a high school diploma, willingness to learn about student safety, ability to lift 50 lbs, punctuality and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Supervises students and works with a wide range of needs, including physical, behavior and social examples.
• Ensures students follow bus safety guidelines before, during and after transport.
• Guides each student toward making appropriate choices and accepting responsibility for their own behavior.
• Alerts the bus driver and transportation director to any problem or special information regarding an individual student.
• Consistent reporting to work, adhering to scheduled shift times and notifying the transportation director of any absences or lateness.
