Job summary

ADM Community School District is seeking a Transportation/Bus Associate to help transport students safely. The role requires supervising students, enforcing safety rules, and communicating issues to bus drivers and the transportation director. Shift hours are part-time with specific morning and afternoon blocks.

A successful candidate will be student-focused, punctual, and committed to protecting student safety while maintaining confidentiality and teamwork within the transportation team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to learn about and ensure student safety.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Punctual and consistently reports to work.
• Completed required trainings before interacting with students.

Responsibilities

• Supervises students and works with a wide range of needs including physical, behavioral and social.
• Ensures students follow bus safety guidelines before, during and after transport.
• Guides each student toward making appropriate choices and accepting responsibility for their own behavior.
• Alerts the bus driver and transportation director to any problem or special information regarding an individual student.
• Consistently reports to work, adheres to scheduled shift times and notifies the transportation director of absences or lateness.

Estimated hours will be: Monday through Thursday6:45-9:00a;1:30p-4:00pm and Friday 6:45-9:00a; 12:45p-2:30pm

QUALIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
