Qualifications

• Valid CDL with endorsements for passenger transport.
• Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past 3 years.
• Experience driving a bus or similar vehicle preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with passengers of all ages.
• Able to pass background checks and drug screenings as district policy.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, afternoons, and some evenings/weekends.
• Commitment to safety and respectful environment for all passengers.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus; training provided if needed.

• Maintain a clean and orderly bus environment, ensuring passenger comfort and safety.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding transportation schedules and any changes.
• Monitor passenger behavior and enforce safety rules to ensure a safe travel environment.
• Report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle malfunctions to the appropriate authorities.
• Attend training sessions and meetings as required to stay updated on safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for passenger transport.
• Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past three years.
• Previous experience driving a bus or similar vehicle is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with passengers of all ages.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as mandated by school district policies.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, afternoons, and occasional evenings or weekends.
