Touro University Florida is seeking adjunct faculty in multiple disciplines at the Boca Raton campus. This part-time role involves course instruction, preparation, student advisement, grading, and assessment for undergraduate students.

Adjuncts will develop syllabi, deliver lectures, provide feedback, and maintain regular office hours. A Master's degree or higher and prior college teaching are preferred; strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in relevant academic field required.
• Previous college-level teaching experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver course syllabi, lectures, and assignments that are aligned with the department's curriculum and meet the needs of students.
• Grade student work promptly and provide feedback as necessary.
• Prepare students for assessments and provide helpful performance feedback.
• Meet with students during regularly scheduled office hours and other scheduled times to provide support and guidance.
• Participate in department meetings and faculty development activities.
• Keep up-to-date on the latest developments within discipline and incorporate them into teaching materials.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment where students feel comfortable participating and learning.
• Other duties as assigned.

Overview

Touro University Florida is hiring adjunct faculty in the following disciplines:

• Natural Sciences
• Mathematics
• Psychology
• Economics
• Computer Science

Adjuncts are responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, student advisement, grading, and assessment to our undergraduate students.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop and deliver course syllabi, lectures, and assignments that are aligned with the department's curriculum and meet the needs of students.
