Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. seeks Adjunct Teacher Education faculty to teach Child Care Provider classes at the Community College of Baltimore County. Responsibilities include course development, instruction delivery, and monitoring student performance. A Master’s degree in education-related field and at least five years of teaching experience are required, with a preference for applicants with college teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Five years of teaching experience in licensed childcare and/or PK-5 setting required.
• College teaching experience preferred.
• Successful completion of an MSDE/Office of Childcare-approved 'train the trainer' session preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop course syllabus and deliver instruction adhering to college policies.
• Employ a variety of instructional strategies for diverse students.
• Monitor student performance and provide timely feedback.

Skills

Expert knowledge of Maryland childcare regulations

Proficient working with learning management systems

Proficient computer skills and Microsoft applications knowledge

Education
