Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Cosmetology and WI Cosmetology license required.
• Cosmetology instructors certificate/license preferred.
• Twelve months of occupational experience outside education for academic instructors.
• Twenty-four months of directly related occupational experience for occupational instructors; one year within last five years.
• Previous teaching experience is desirable.
• Appropriate technical/occupational licensure where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students within the assigned program.
• Create an active, learning-centered environment.
• Deliver instruction in the approved instructional delivery system.
• Work under the Instructional Manager and Salon and Spa Director.
