Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent with education or training for the occupation being taught.
24 months (4,000 hours) of verifiable occupational experience, 2,000 hours in the previous five years.
Current Wisconsin Fire and Emergency Services Instructor I Certification; FESI II Preferred
Driver/Operator Pumper Certification Preferred
Current Wisconsin Live Fire Instructor Certification or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Provide classroom and lab instruction in the Fire programs.
Deliver practical hands-on instruction and include technology in teaching.
Maintain positive relationships with industry-related organizations and businesses.
Complete requirements to obtain and maintain a current teaching certification from the Wisconsin Technical College System Board.
