Primary Duties And Responsibilities

Adjunct Faculty instructors at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings. Courses may be conducted in various formats, such as face-to-face, online, hybrid, and blended. Responsibilities also include student evaluation and timely, accurate submission of required paperwork.

• Required Qualifications:

- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in the field and/or relevant education, training, and tested experience in Respiratory Care.

- Three years of full-time experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.

- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and current Illinois license as a Respiratory Therapist.

- Ability to teach remotely using technology; experience in online or virtual teaching preferred. Access to personal technology and a home computer with appropriate capabilities for online teaching.

These positions are paid via stipends for course assignments. A pre-employment background check at the college's expense is required.
