Adjunct Faculty, DMIN-Nuclear Medicine - FA25

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Adjunct Faculty instructors at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings. Courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as face-to-face, online, hybrid, and/or blended formats. Additionally, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation and the timely, accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Nuclear Medicine or a related field. Alternatively, a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Medical/Health Physics is acceptable.
  • Minimum of four years post-certification experience in nuclear medicine technology or as a health/medical physicist.
  • Must be a nuclear medicine technologist or medical/health physicist knowledgeable of current nuclear medicine technology and educational methodologies.
  • Must hold certification and registration in nuclear medicine technology from a recognized national certification board; ARRT(N) or CNMT. Alternatively, certification as a board-certified Health/Medical Physicist is acceptable.

Ability to teach remotely using technology and experience in online or virtual teaching is preferred. Access to personal technology and a home computer capable of supporting online teaching is required.

These positions are paid via stipends for course assignments.

A pre-employment background check at the college's expense is required.
