A leading educational institution in Glen Ellyn is seeking adjunct faculty members for College Skills courses. College of DuPage seeks adjunct faculty members to teach College Skills.
We are committed to facilitating and supporting student success in learning, meeting the individual educational needs of our diverse, multicultural campus. The successful candidate will be dedicated to teaching in a multicultural environment and working with students of various learning abilities. Opportunities may include teaching during days, evenings, and weekends.
Adjunct faculty are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings. Courses may be delivered face-to-face, online, hybrid, or blended. Responsibilities also include student evaluation and the timely, accurate submission of related paperwork.
Preferred qualifications include specialized training or experience in career development, college-level teaching experience, proficiency in designing engaging instruction, and the ability to teach face-to-face at our Glen Ellyn campus. Experience with online or virtual teaching and access to personal technology for online instruction are also preferred.
These positions are paid via stipends for course assignments. A pre-employment background check at the college’s expense is required.
