Job summary

Gwinnett Technical College is seeking an Adjunct Faculty – Game Development to teach courses in Game Design and Development, AI, Mobile Development, and scripting. The position is part-time, non-benefited, FLSA Exempt/Professional and reports to the Program Director – Web Design and Game Development.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's degree (or a Master’s with 18 graduate hours) and have at least two years of related work experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in field OR Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in discipline.
• Minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
• Credentialing to satisfy accrediting bodies for the courses assigned.

Responsibilities

• Prepares lesson plans for classroom instruction for specified courses.
• Evaluates students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives.
• Prepares and maintains all required documentation and administrative reports.
• Displays a high level of effort and commitment to performing work; operates effectively within the organizational structure.
• Accepts direction and feedback from supervisor and follows through appropriately.
• Assists with recruitment retention and job placement efforts.
• May be required to act as a Campus Security Authority; completing all responsibilities and trainings.
