Florence Darlington Technical College is accepting applications to build an active pool of qualified candidates for Adjunct Faculty (temporary, part-time) positions. Adjunct instructors may teach in-person classes or online. Opportunities may include daytime or evening classes, online instruction, and dual credit courses offered at local high schools. Applications will be reviewed on an as-needed basis as teaching opportunities become available.
Responsibilities include teaching a diverse student body in accordance with established syllabi at various locations, utilizing instructional technology, and applying a variety of effective teaching methods. Additional duties include planning, managing, and delivering course instruction; following all EPA and OSHA regulations that pertain to the program; participating in college functions as needed; and applying teaching practices that support the continuous improvement of both the program and the college.
