Job summary

Embrave is hiring an Addiction Counselor in Colorado Springs, CO for a full-time role. The position focuses on direct therapeutic services for adults with substance use disorders, including group and individual therapy, using evidence-based approaches and standardized assessments.

Candidates must hold a Colorado DORA Licensed Addiction Counselor credential or CAC II/III with DORA in good standing and related LPC/LCSW/LPCC credentials.

Qualifications

• Must hold licensure with Colorado DORA as a Licensed Addiction Counselor.
• Or current CAC II/III with DORA in good standing, plus one of LPC/LCSW/LPCC/SWC/Addictions Counselor Candidate in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial clinical assessments using standardized tools (ASAM, etc.).
• Administer follow-up assessments.
• Conduct group and individual therapeutic interventions.
• Develop a comprehensive treatment plan with the client addressing priority needs and outcomes.
• Deliver weekly groups or provide individual treatment using approved curriculum.
• Evaluate and report progress and outcomes of treatment services.
• Complete clinical assessments, intakes, treatment plans/reviews, monthly reports, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Participate in mental health on-call duties.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
