Job summary

Mountain Springs Recovery in Colorado is seeking an Addiction Counselor/Group Counselor to guide clients on their recovery journey. You will lead group sessions, provide individual support, and document progress in our EMR, helping clients reclaim their lives with compassion and expertise.

Qualifications

• CAS certification valid in CO
• Must pass caregiver and criminal background checks, plus drug screen
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Build trust with clients through interviews and assessments
• Facilitate group sessions and therapeutic outings
• Observe and document behavior, progress, and participation in EMR
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with clients
• Support client families and maintain open communication
• Respond with calm and care in crisis situations
