Management & Training Corporation (MTC) East Texas Treatment Facility in Henderson, TX seeks a Treatment Specialist to deliver didactic education within DWI, ISF and SAFPF programs. You will coordinate activities, support resource use, and ensure compliance with MTC and TDCJ directives.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, an associate degree preferred in psychology, sociology, counseling, or related fields, plus valid Texas driving record.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred in psychology, sociology, counseling, social work, criminal justice or education.
• Related experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license in Texas with acceptable driving record.

Aufgaben

• Provides didactic sessions according to designated curricula within the programs as needed.
• Presents educational and Life Skill classes to assist clients with basic education on these topics.
• Guides and assists clients in complying with facility rules and regulations; supervises client work functions.
• Maintains client and other records regarding services; compiles data and submits reports and related documentation.
• Adheres to the core functions within practicum guidelines in Texas licensing and certification requirements.
• Adheres to the Ethical Standards of Care for HHSC and TCB.

Ausbildung

Associate’s degree in psychology, sociology, counseling, social work, criminal justice or education
