Job summary

Management & Training Corporation operates the East Texas Treatment Facility in Henderson, Texas, offering a full-time counseling role focused on substance abuse programs. You will supervise staff, coordinate services, and ensure compliance with MTC and TDCJ directives in a Therapeutic Community setting.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree, LCDC licensure or equivalent credentials, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a CHEA/USDE-accredited college or university is required.
• At least three years of experience; additional experience may substitute for college hours.
• Must hold LCDC licensure or other listed professional credentials.
• Valid driver’s license required unless waived by management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement counseling activities in DWI/SAFPF/ISF programs.
• Conduct evaluations using validated tools to assess recovery needs and risk.
• Develop Individual Treatment Plans based on assessments and clinical interviews.
• Provide counseling and recovery skills training; run groups and orient inmates.
