Management & Training Corporation (MTC) in Henderson, TX seeks a qualified professional to provide counseling and treatment services within a correctional facility. The role supports discharge planning, conducts assessments, and serves as a clinical resource for staff while complying with MTC and TDCJ directives.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree, state-licensed credentials (LCDC-I, CCJP-A, LPA), and four years of substance abuse treatment experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from CHEA/USDE-accredited college or university.
• Four (4) years of full-time substance abuse treatment experience; substitution allowed for additional coursework.
• Current LCDC-I licensure by Texas DSHS, CCJP-A certification by Texas Certification Board, and LPA licensure by Texas State Board.
• Must maintain licensure/certification for continued employment.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record, unless waived.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements treatment plans and assessment plans; conducts interventions.
• Assume independent clinical responsibility for inmates; apply crisis intervention and suicide prevention.
• Collaborate with supervisors and medical professionals to achieve therapeutic goals for inmates.
• Conduct evaluations to determine needs; make referrals for assessment and treatment.
• Provide CAP recommendations; assist program director and treatment team.
• Maintain inmate records and statistics; ensure confidentiality and compliance.
• Attend staff meetings; promote communication between administration, staff, and inmates.
• Support development of positive social skills and provide feedback on interventions.
• Maintain accountability and safety practices.
