Job summary

The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation seeks an addiction psychiatrist to lead its developing co‑occurring disorders program, from residential to outpatient care. You will join a multidisciplinary team that assesses and treats patients with substance use and co‑occurring mental disorders to ensure holistic, evidence‑based care.

You will educate staff on best practices and help implement integrated care in a world‑renowned treatment setting, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• MD required with medical license to practice in the appropriate state.
• Board certification in addiction medicine or board eligibility with future recertification in two years.
• Experience in addiction-related medical practice or equivalent.
• Must pass state/background checks and have NPI and DEA certificates.
• BLS certification from ARC or AHA required for on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the developing co-occurring disorders program across levels of care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated care.
• Educate staff on best practices and advance mental health service delivery.
