Job summary

Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation is seeking an addiction psychiatrist to help lead its developing co‑occurring disorders program, spanning residential to outpatient care. You will join a multidisciplinary team to assess and treat patients with substance use and other mental disorders, aiming for integrated, holistic care.

The role emphasizes educating staff on best practices, implementing integrated care, and advancing mental health delivery in a world‑renowned setting.

Qualifications

• MD degree and licensed to practice medicine in a state.
• Board certified or eligible; must be certified in addiction medicine before re‑credentialing.
• Experience in addiction treatment or related field.
• Must pass state/background check and hold a DEA certificate.
• NPI number required; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the co‑occurring disorders program across residential to outpatient levels of care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and treat patients with substance use and co‑occurring disorders.
• Educate staff on best practices in co‑occurring disorder management and integrated care.
• Contribute to advancing mental health care delivery in a renowned addiction treatment setting.
