Job summary

The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation in Minnesota seeks a Co-Occurring Professional to deliver advanced clinical services within a 24/7 residential setting. You will provide group and individual therapy for clients with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders, integrating addiction recovery with 12-step-based care.

You will lead in the absence of the program manager, supervise students/interns, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and plan ongoing care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in behavioral health required.
• License to independently practice mental health and SUD services in MN: LPCC, LMFT, LICSW.
• Must be trained in Rule 31.
• Current CPR certification or obtain within 30 days (fully remote work employees exempt). Certification must be from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Must satisfactorily pass a state/license specific background check
• Individual National Provider Identification (NPI) number

Responsibilities

• Provide Residential care for Co-Occurring Enhanced substance use disorder and mental health treatment services within a 24/7 structured environment, utilizing continuous assessment and high-frequency patient engagement.
• In the absence of the program manager, assume leadership and supervisory responsibility of the clinic to ensure coordination of staff and clinical services.
• Participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team, providing assessment, individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and ongoing care planning.
• Coordinate care and ensure continuity of patient care with staff and external resources while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.
• Represent Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation services to various audiences to promote understanding of processes and participation.

Education

Master's Degree in behavioral health
