Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CCIT (Counselor –in-training certification) or equivalent certifications may be required.
• CACI, CADC, CMAC, CAADC, CADC-T certifications or higher are preferred.
• Master’s Degree or higher preferred for Counselor III level.

Responsibilities

• Ensure completion of patient databases, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other essential documentation as per standards.
• Provide orientation to patients regarding program objectives, rules, hours, and rights.
• Assess and place patients according to treatment phases per policies.
• Counsel patients in crisis situations and refer to resources as needed.
• Arrange referrals to community resources and participate in case conferences.
