Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a driven engineer for ADAS hardware/software application and vehicle integration. You will lead design and release work for ADAS components across multiple vehicle programs, ensuring timely, robust parts and thorough documentation.

The role requires CAD packaging experience, Teamcenter PLM proficiency, and strong systems engineering knowledge. A hybrid work setup with onsite four or more days per week is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field of study.
• 1+ years of experience in Design and Release of E/E components.
• 1+ years of experience with Automotive Component or Subsystem Product Development tools and processes.
• 1+ years of CAD packaging experience.
• Experience with Teamcenter PLM for releasing engineering drawings and managing BOMs.
• Strong understanding of engineering disciplines (specifications, systems engineering, design validation, failure mode analysis, 8D, Six Sigma).

Responsibilities

• Lead Design and Release work for ADAS components per GPDS across vehicle programs.
• Provide cost-efficient and quality parts on time with governance of robustness documentation (DFMEA, DVP&R, SCAAF).
• Support Sourcing: investment, piece price, tooling cost reviews; prepare ESOW and specs.
• Manage hardware releases for prototype, production, and service.
• Lead Failure Mode Avoidance and Functional Safety analyses.
• Conduct Technical Design Reviews with Ford and suppliers.
